Café concession, Ferry Meadows café, Nene Park, Peterborough

Nene Park, a 1725 acre country park stretching six miles along the Nene Valley is widely heralded as one of the jewels in Peterborough's crown. As part of its 10 year strategic plan the Ferry Meadows café is to receive substantial investment in late 2010 in preparation for a Spring 2011 opening. Nene Park Trust wishes to appoint an experienced catering operator who will fully realise the potential the location offers.

The well equipped café will provide 90 m² of café seating space, 63 m² of kitchen and storage space and 200 m² of external seating area. It is envisaged that the catering operator will offer a range of homemade or locally sourced light meals and snacks.

The five year contract, commencing February 2011, will be let on a concession basis with a requirement to pay the Trust a percentage of gross turnover as rent.
