Banoffee pie

Ingredients

(serves 6-8)

6oz digestive biscuits
3oz butter
3 or more bananas
1 large tin of condensed milk

Method

Melt butter and add crushed biscuits. Press into well-greased flan dish. Leave to chill. Put unopened tin of condensed milk into saucepan with water almost to the top of the tin. Bring water to the boil and simmer for three hours. Allow to cool.

Slice bananas and layer on biscuit base. Pour toffee over top. When cold decorate with cream flavoured with coffee or Tia Maria and chocolate flake bar.
