BAA to reward Heathrow staff for eating at the airport

BAA has launched a new staff initiative which rewards the 94,000 workforce at Heathrow for eating and drinking at the airport.

The WorldPoints for Heathrow Staff is similar to the existing WorldPoints passenger programme in that cardholders receive one WorldPoint for every £1 spent in food and retail outlets across Heathrow.

However, the staff scheme extends the offering to also include all cafés and coffee areas serviced by contract caterer Eurest.

Employees can redeem their points online to receive vouchers, frequent flyer miles or discounts on airport parking.

Claire Burley, loyalty and customer relationship manager, said: "Many Heathrow staff choose to shop at the airport in much the same way they would the high street, but with the added bonus of tax-free prices.

"Now staff can enjoy an even better deal by collecting WorldPoints for every purchase and take advantage of the exclusive offers available to airport ID holders only."
