Aramark wins £50m food and cleaning contract in Beckenham
Contract caterer Aramark's Healthcare division has been awarded a £50m contract to provide food and cleaning services at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust in Beckenham.
The five-year deal, with turnover expected to be around £10m annually, will begin in February 2010.
Paul Winter, head of hotel services for the Trust, said: "Aramark submitted a competent, innovative bid and we anticipate working together towards significant constructive change over the coming months."
Kevin Holder, Aramark's director of healthcare, added: "With plans to make a quick and positive impact across each of the Trust's sites we have already identified the way forward. We have forged a good relationship with our client, and we look forward to developing this over the next five years."
