Applications open for MasterChef: The Professionals 2017

Applications are now open for chefs to enter the 10th series of MasterChef: The Professionals.

Last year's winner was Gary Maclean, senior lecturer at City of Glasgow College.

Applicants must be aged 20 or above on 1 May 2017 and have worked for at least two years as a chef in a professional kitchen and/or have at least an NVQ level 3, 706/1 and 706/2 or equivalent. In Northern Ireland, you must have NTCB Certificate in Professional Cookery.

Applicants must also be able to commit to all the filming days required.

The deadline for applications is the end of April.
