Anton Edelmann picks up Ambassador award at HA Ball

Anton Edelmann has picked up the Ambassador award at industry charity Hospitality Action's (HA) annual ball, organised in conjunction with Caterer.

The ball, which took place on Friday night at London's Grosvenor House hotel, saw a whopping £100,000 raised for the charity, which supports hospitality workers who have fallen on hard times.

Penny Moore, chief executive of Hospitality Action, said: "We're delighted to be celebrating 170 years and thank everyone in the industry for their ongoing support."

Last month, Martin Lee chef/proprietor of the Plough in Bolnhurst, Bedfordshire, helped raise £18,000 for HA with a dinner featuring the skills of Edelmann; Steve Munkley, executive chef at the Royal Garden hotel in London and Cyrus Todiwala of Care Spice Namasté, also in the capital.
