Andrew Howarth placed on gardening leave by Graysons

Andrew Howarth, managing director of Duchy Catering, is on gardening leave ahead of his departure from the firm.

Howarth was one of three former directors of the business arrested under the Proceeds of Crime Act in January 2009, shortly after the Leeds firm was put into administration and sold to Graysons. Howarth was not charged with an offence and police have indicated that no further action will be taken.

Graysons chief executive Rowena Edwards said Howarth's departure was "amicable". Caterer was unable to reach Howarth for comment.
