Amadeus retains catering contract for Barclay Scottish Open golf tournament
Amadeus](http://www.amadeusfood.co.uk/), the external catering arm of the NEC Group, is to provide the hospitality at the 2010 Barclay Scottish Open at [Loch Lomond Golf Club](http://www.lochlomond.com/#/) this week July.
The contract, worth £500,000 per year, will see the caterer provide hospitality for around 70,000 visitors to the event in the Barclays Pavilion, the European Tour Pavilion and the Rossdu Club.
It is the tenth time that Amadeus has been contracted for the Barclays Scottish Open and 2010 represents the first of a new three-year deal.
For the first time, the Amadeus team will be accompanied by partner company Shropshire-based mobile caterers MPM, in which the NEC Group invested a 35% equity share in April.
Sally Davis, managing director of Amadeus, said: "It's a real honour for the NEC group to be part of such a successful event.
"It is also an exciting time for our new partnership with MPM Catering. This is the first time we have worked at the Barclays Scottish open together. As well as, providing a great offer for visitors it also demonstrates how Amadeus work in partnership to provide a complete solution".
