A new look for the new age of The Caterer

From this week, we bring you a new name, a new magazine, a new website, and renewed vigour to arm you with the tools you need to run your business.

The Caterer is succinct and to the point, but above all, it's how you, the industry, refers to its only pan-hospitality magazine and website.

We live in an era of community, where people want to share, exchange information, network, engage and grow their knowledge. With the hospitality community at the forefront of our minds, we have launched www.thecaterer.com, a new groundbreaking digital service designed to deliver personalised news, views, in-depth articles, images and job alerts to users at their convenience, and on their choice of device, be that desktop, tablet or smartphone.

Using the latest technology, you will be able to filter this content so your newsfeed is tailored to suit your needs. Leading-edge community functionality will allow individuals, businesses and associations to build profiles and networks and add their voices to the debates that shape hospitality. The launch of www.thecaterer.com also sees the transformation of our supplier directory and property content, which sit alongside our recently remodelled jobs site.

And yes, that's www.thecaterer.com
Meanwhile, the magazine, which dates back to 1878 (as The Caterer and Refreshment Contractors Gazette), hasn't stood still either. Available in print as well as digitally, The Caterer has been revitalised with a contemporary look and new, enhanced content to inspire and inform hotels, restaurants and foodservice.
We're giving you more of the content we know you like - the latest openings, hotels and restaurant reviews, in-depth and informative articles, and critical business advice covering everything from revenue management to soft furnishings and everything in between. There will be more features that will help you to gain the competitive edge, educate and enlighten you.

We know how hard you work, and how much your business is fuelled by passion. We too are passionate about hospitality, and at The Caterer and www.thecaterer.com we endeavour to match your passion and provide you with all the information, inspiration and connections you need to build a better business.
