A day in the life – a photographic exhibition

Ever wondered what a day in the life of the 1.6 million workers who are employed in the hospitality industry looks like?

Then take a look at 24-hour photographic exhibition, which was compiled by Caterer photographers and readers on Wednesday 21 June - the longest day of the year.

The exhibition includes images of food producers, fisherman, hotel workers, publicans, baristas. bar workers, staff restaurants and cafés.

There are three sections to our exhibition broken up into morning, afternoon and evening, so use the links below to find images of life in this wonderful industry.

For more images, see our special 20-page photographic exhibition in the latest issue of Caterer and Hotelkeeper.
