Denis Frucot joins new Herefordshire events venue Crumplebury as GM

Denis Frucot has been appointed general manager at Herefordshire wedding and events venue Crumplebury ahead of its launch in November.

He joins from Northumberland boutique hotel Beadnell Towers, where he spent 12 months on-site overseeing the property's £3m revamp ahead of its relaunch May.

Prior to that Frucot was general manager of Macdonald Linden Hall in Morpeth, Northumberland; Seckford Hall, Woodbridge, Suffolk; and Hoste, Burnham Market, Norfolk; after spending 16 years with Hotel du Vin and Malmaison.

"I'm really looking forward to joining the Crumplebury team to help open the amazing new venue and to really take the reins, ensuring the five-star level of luxury is maintained across everything that takes place," said Frucot.

"It's an exciting time to be joining the business and I can't wait to get stuck in ahead of the official launch."

Joe Evans, managing director at Crumplebury, added: "Everything is coming along nicely, and I'm sure Denis will help drive us successfully to the finish line and beyond."

Crumplebury is scheduled to open in November. It has already secured a number of wedding and event bookings for the end of this year as well as into 2020 and 2021.
