Bartlett Mitchell announces three senior internal promotions

Catering company Bartlett Mitchell has made three internal senior promotions, including a UK managing director and two divisional managing directors.

Francois Gautreaux initially joined the business as operations director in 2008 and has been promoted from managing director to UK managing director, which the company says will include responsibility for the operational strategic development of the company, focusing on growth in the regions, partnerships with social enterprises, and developing people within the business.

The company has also promoted Angus Brydon and Antony Prentice as divisional managing directors amid a prolonged period of growth.

In their new roles, Brydon will be responsible for the City of London and supporting business development, retention and development of teams. Prentice will oversee business in the home counties and be responsible for logistics and resource planning as well as project work around IT infrastructure.

Brydon joined the business in 2009 as an area manager, working his way up to operations manager. After a brief spell at Elior, he rejoined in 2017 and took the role of operations director.

Prentice joined the company as an area business manager in 2011, becoming operations business manager and operations director in 2015.

Wendy Bartlett, executive chairman of Bartlett Mitchell, said: "We are proud to promote three incredibly talented individuals within the BM family. As a business, we have invested in a lot of time and resource to help us build a team which is able to support our growth.

"Francois, Angus and Anthony have been invaluable assets to the business over many years. We are delighted with their promotions as they have been instrumental in helping us build for the future."

Bartlett Mitchell reported an annual turnover of £45.5m for 2018, up 16% year-on-year and marking eight consecutive years of double-digit growth.
