Armed robbery leaves TGI Fridays employees ‘incredibly shaken'

An armed robbery at a TGI Fridays restaurant in Prestwich has left employees "incredibly shaken", police have said.

Three armed men threatened staff before fleeing with a large quantity of cash in a stolen white Audi A3, yesterday evening (Sunday).

Greater Manchester Police said officers called to the restaurant in Valley Park Road shortly before 10.30pm.

The car was later found on fire nearby.

No one was injured in the robbery and no arrests have been made.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
