Tender opportunity: St James's Park catering concession

London's eight Royal Parks are some of the best-loved and most beautiful spaces in the world. Managed by The Royal Parks, they provide unparalleled opportunities for enjoyment, exploration and healthy living in the capital.

17 million visits are made to St James's Park each year, for the many historic buildings that border the park, together with its exceptional horticulture and bedding. The Mall and Horse Guards Parade Ground are part of St James's Park and are the venue for state ceremonials and military parades such as the Changing of the Guard, Trooping the Colour and Beating the Retreat as well as the State Opening of Parliament. We are seeking a first class, experienced operator to deliver a quality catering service in St James's Park that matches the horticultural excellence of this world-class environment.

A six-year concession contract will be let for the 190 cover (70 internal, 120 external) St James's Cafe (formerly Inn the Park), with an extension option, commencing in November 2017. The operator will be required to undertake a complete refurbishment of the cafe. Note that this contract will be for the cafe only, the mobiles and kiosks being managed under a separate licence.
