Tender opportunity: Buckler's Hard Tea Room, Beaulieu

Beaulieu Enterprises Limited is undertaking a tender to find an experienced, creative and professional caterer to operate the tea room at Buckler's Hard Village.

Buckler's Hard village is a world-class beauty spot in the New Forest. It is a place you can drive, sail, cycle or walk to and is the perfect spot to sit in peace and tranquillity watching life on the Beaulieu River. For those looking for something a bit deeper there is the opportunity to learn about the important and fascinating maritime history of the village.

We are looking to appoint an operator for the tea room who is able to give our visitors the high-quality catering experience that such a beautiful place deserves. We feel this is an opportunity for an ambitious company to build a business, which will be used by the local community, day visitors and holiday-makers alike.

The appointed operator will need to demonstrate sound business and management skills alongside an entrepreneurial vision, whilst showing a commitment to quality, customer service and sustainability.

The preference is for a three-year agreement initially subject to satisfactory performance. However, to attract the right catering partner we are open to suggestions on the length and structure of the agreement. The tea room will be available to occupy from February 2022.

For further information and to be considered for tender, please contact Jon Tee, Head of Visitor Experience and Operations, by 4 August 2021.
