Tender opportunity: National Football Museum

National Football Museum (NFM), is pleased to invite submissions from suitably qualified, enterprising and experienced caterers for the formal tender of the museum's catering provision.

NFM is a popular visitor attraction with a reputation for providing a high-quality visitor experience. It is based in the city centre in one of the most visually striking buildings in Manchester, designed by Ian Simpson Architects.

The glass building has six storeys and a distinctive sloping form. The galleries are spread over four floors. The ground floor Pitch Gallery hosts pop-up exhibitions, the first floor Match Gallery is where many of the museum's iconic objects and the stories behind them are displayed. The interactive Play Gallery is on Level 2 and Level 3's Score Gallery hosts the latest temporary exhibitions.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide the catering at a well-known, high-profile, city centre visitor attraction. We are looking for a caterer who can provide a consistent standard of high-quality catering for the year-round daytime offer of the cafe, as well as being able to manage the hospitality offer for existing trade and growth of NFM's well-established venue hire service.

NFM will work in partnership with the successful caterer to provide an exceptional visitor experience and to support the future development of the museum's catering offer. We are particularly keen to hear from caterers with relevant sector experience and an understanding of the market that Manchester operates in.
