Manor Hotel is a well-established 300-year-old, 40-bedroom hotel, set in the little-known gem of a seaside resort and only 200 metres from the beach. The hotel has substantial local business together with a healthy guest, function and wedding income.
The hotel has many future function bookings and has an upmarket restaurant normally seating 60 guests and a ballroom capacity of 100. The food income is in excess of £300,000 with huge potential upside. The hotel also has an outside dining area for use during the fine weather months.
There are an increasing number of local fine dining establishments, which prove the local demand: Michael Caine's Lympstone Manor, Saveur, Rockfish, Olive Lounge & Millers.
The kitchen is well-equipped – two new rationale ovens, a new Synergy grill, new deep-fat fryer, gas hob, new dishwasher and walk-in fridge.
We are seeking an enthusiastic chef/caterer who is experienced in operating their own business, keen to develop sales, passionate about customer service and attention to detail. Our aim is to attract the right catering partner who has a committed policy of reducing environmental impact and inspiring sustainable living.
We are open to suggestions on the length and structure of the agreement. The aim is to start this from 1 February 2021.
