New owners for real ale Tamworth pub

The Bulls Head, a CAMRA-recognised real ale pub in Tamworth, Staffordshire, has been sold to Julie Jones and Paul Burke.

The detached brick property has a prominent corner position on the A5 Watling Street at Two Gates.

Along with a split level lounge and a main bar, the business offers a patio and a car park to the side and domestic accommodation on the first floor that includes three double bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, dining room, lounge and office

It operates under a Union Pub Company 21-year open house lease (which commenced in 2002) which property agent Fleurets sold off a £50,000 asking price on behalf of retiring former lessees Tony and Pat Whorwood.
