New owner for Yorkshire village inn

Robert Gilpin is the new owner of North Yorkshire's Hare and Hounds village inn.

The property, which is situated in the prosperous conservation village of Burton Leonard near Harrogate, has built up a reputation for its high-quality food and beverage offer.

It incorporates a traditional bar with two seating areas, a 50-seat restaurant, a separate dry lounge, and a flagged patio and car park outside.

The Hare and Hounds was sold off an asking price of £695,000 through the Leeds office of Colliers Robert Barry, which was acting on behalf of previous owners Tony and Sarah Porter.
