Hall & Woodhouse pushes further into Devon

Dorset pub operator Hall & Woodhouse has snapped up the Dolphin Inn in the neighbouring county of Devon.

The village pub is located in the South Hams village of Newton Ferrers in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It commands views across the River Yealm estuary towards the twin village of Noss Mayo

The Dolphin attracts trade from both locals and tourists and is a popular meeting place for yachtsmen.

It has a 48-seat L-shaped bar; a 24-seat restaurant; a two-level patio beer garden that can seat another 48 customers; and two-bedroom private accommodation. It also has planning permission for expansion.

Property agent Bettesworths sold the freehold off asking price of £895,000 on behalf of Ian and Sandy Rees.
