Former Gold Service Scholar joins the Dorchester

The inaugural 2013 Gold Service Scholarship winner Rebecca Clough has joined the Dorchester and 45 Park Lane hotels as people and culture manager.

She is set to join the hotels in mid-September, which are located opposite one another on London's Park Lane. Both retain five red AA stars; the Dorchester has 250 bedrooms, while 45 Park Lane is a more intimate property with 46 rooms.

Emma Jayne, director of people and culture at The Dorchester and 45 Park Lane, said: "I am personally so delighted to be welcoming Rebecca to our people and culture team at the Dorchester and 45 Park Lane; her experience and personality are such a great fit to our company values and culture which will be really important in her new role here.

"In particular, as the inaugural winner of the Gold Scholarship Award, Rebecca's proven desire to strive for excellence in her work is extremely exciting for the people and culture team and we look forward to her joining us in September."

Clough (née Dibben) most recently worked as talent and resourcing executive for the Harbour Hotels Group, as well as holding roles as senior recruitment consultant at Platinum Recruitment Consultancy and assistant food and beverage manager at Evolution Taverns in Bournemouth.

She was restaurant supervisor at Gleneagles in Auchterarder, Perthshire at the hotel's Deseo Mediterranean restaurant when she won the very first Gold Service Scholarship.
