Lina Stores completes food line-up at London's Centre Point
Italian institution Lina Stores will complete the food offering at London's redeveloped Centre Point building.
Arcade, which has been dubbed an ‘all-day food theatre', will open on Monday 22 July. The 12,500 sq ft, Grade II-listed space on New Oxford Street will have six ground-floor kitchens, a coffee and bakery counter, three bars and an outdoor terrace. A mezzanine kitchen space above, called the Loft, will showcase emerging culinary concepts from across the city.
Lina Stores joins Mexican concept Pastorcito from the Harts Group; an outlet of Selin Kiazim and Laura Christie's Oklava restaurant in Shoreditch; and Chotto by Chotto Matte, offering more accessible Nikkei cuisine than that served at the Soho site.
The venue will also have a Flat Iron Workshop dedicated to specialist cuts and developing new dishes; Portuguese concept Casita Do Frango from the Casa do Frango owners; globally inspired bakery and coffee shop Pophams; and Tōu by Tā Tā Eatery, serving Japanese katsu sandos, which will take first residence in the Loft.
Arcade will hold a soft opening ahead of Monday's official launch, offering 50% off food from Friday to Sunday.
