Deadline to enter the 2019 Foodservice Cateys extended to 3 July

The deadline to enter the 2019 Foodservice Cateys has been extended until 3 July.

The awards, in partnership with Seafood Week, celebrate the individuals, teams and businesses shaping the foodservice industry, who work tirelessly to deliver an exceptional service.

This year four new categories have been introduced to recognise the exciting developments happening in the contract catering industry, including Boutique Caterer of the Year, Best Use of Technology, Rising Star and Trainee Chef of the Year.

While the total number of awards remains the same as 2018, a number of existing categories have been refreshed, while the criteria has been updated and entry process simplified for every award.

The Caterer editor Chris Gamm said: "Contract catering is more exciting than ever, and the Foodservice Cateys must reflect this dynamism.

"That's why we've introduced a number of new categories this year to reflect the changes happening in the industry and the things that are most important to your customers.

"We've also updated the focus and criteria of several other categories to ensure they are relevant to the roles and functions your teams are delivering.

"Most importantly, we've reviewed the questions in the entry process and amount of information required to save you time, while ensuring the judges have the facts they need to select the most outstanding individuals and operators."

The Foodservice Cateys take place on 11 October 2019 at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, London.

Entries must be submitted before 3 July. To find out more and make an entry, go to www.foodservicecateys.com
