Hélène Darroze at the Connaught to close for two month refurbishment

Hélène Darroze's two Michelin star restaurant at the Connaught will close for a full two-month refurbishment in July.

The revered restaurant, which will run its final dinner service on the 14 July, will be altered to include a new chef's table and Armagnac room, as well incorporating new design features in the main dining room. The refurbishment will be led by French design house, Pierre Yovanovitch Architecture d'Intérieur.

The relaunch is scheduled for mid-September, and will be accompanied by a new menu with a greater focus on British producers.

It comes as the multi-award winning site celebrates its ten year anniversary in the heart of Mayfair. Known for its striking plates and ‘solitaire board' menu, Darozze took on the site from Angela Hartnett in 2008 following her success at Restaurant Hélène Darroze in Rue d'Assas in Paris.
