PPHE joins FTSE 250

PPHE Hotel Group is set to join the FTSE 250 from 24 June.

The FTSE 250 is a list of the 101st to the 350th largest companies listed on the London Stock Exchange.

Boris Ivesha, president and chief executive of PPHE Hotel Group said: “Inclusion in the FTSE 250 is another significant corporate milestone for PPHE Hotel Group. This is the culmination of much recent corporate activity which has been focused on engaging with a wider potential investor base and improving liquidity. We look forward to continuing to widen our existing strong investor base in the years ahead.”

PPHE joins Millennium & Copthorne hotel group on the FTSE 250, while InterContinental Hotels Group and Whitbread are listed in the FTSE 100.

PPHE’s portfolio includes nine Park Plaza-branded hotels in London, Leeds, Cardiff and Nottingham, the group’s first boutique Holmes-branded hotel in London’s Marylebone which opened last month, and two art’otel properties under development in London’s Battersea and Hoxton (pictured), with the latter set to open in 2023.
