Tender opportunity: Grade II* listed Clissold House, in the heart of Stoke Newington, London
Hackney Council seeks expressions of interest from companies with turnover in excess of £200,000 per annum for the operation of the café in the restored Grade II-listed Clissold House.
Set in the grounds of Clissold Park, Clissold House provides a stunning setting for this café which the council is keen to operate to the highest standards.
The appointed operator may also have the opportunity to cater for functions within the house. The appointed company will need to demonstrate thorough experience of operating other successful café concepts with a turnover in excess of £200,000.
The five-year lease, which will be awarded following competitive tender, will commence in autumn 2019. The appointed company will be required to make a capital contribution towards the café fit out.
