The AA celebrates the best breakfasts across the UK's leading B&B businesses

The best breakfasts served by the nation's bed and breakfast businesses were revealed this afternoon by the AA.

The newly launched Breakfast of the Year Award highlighted the tastiest first meal of the day served in establishments in England, Scotland and Wales with the accolade going to the Old House at Gotten Manor in Ventnor, Isle of Wight (pictured); Craigmhor Lodge & Courtyard, Pitlochery, Perth & Kinross; and Ramsay House, Haverforwest, Pembrokeshire, respectively.

Now in their 24th year, the annual AA B&B Awards at St Ermin's hotel, London, recognised the diversity and originality behind the UK's leading B&Bs.

Simon Numphud, managing director at AA Hotel & Hospitality Services, said: "We are absolutely delighted to recognise all of our winners, and the passion and dedication they have for their businesses and their guests.

"The standards of hospitality and accommodation are truly excellent and we are particularly pleased to recognise the outstanding breakfasts through our new national awards."
