Tender opportunity: New catering opportunities on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
The London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) is seeking expressions of interest from operators for two new separate catering contracts on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
These are unique opportunities to lease existing established premises on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, one of London's top visitor attractions. The Timber Lodge in the north and Park Kiosks in the south of the Park are both available for a five year lease via a competitive tender process. This is the first time the leases on these premises have come up for retender in five years.
Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park attracts over six million visitors per annum. It is free to visit every day of the week, and home to internationally famous sporting venues, major events, parklands, playgrounds and community facilities.

The Timber Lodge Café
parties and celebrations. The London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) is seeking an operator to build on the successes of the existing offer and create a real destination café for the Park. The café will be open daily providing snacks, light refreshments and meals. LLDC are asking for expressions of interest from experienced café operators to lease the building and operate an 80 seat café and private events space. Situated in extensive landscaped gardens and close to Lee Valley VeloPark and the new residential districts of Chobham Manor and East Village, the Timber Lodge Café is next to one of the best free children's playgrounds in the UK. Plans are also underway to establish a new high ropes attraction near the café in 2019.
Park Kiosks
A unique opportunity for an operator at the heart of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park - available from October 2018 onwards. Four separate kiosks which serve passing customers and those coming to the Park or the London Stadium for high footfall events. LLDC is seeking an operator to utilise all four kiosks to the benefit of the Park visitors. The offering for each can be diverse and does not have to be solely restricted to catering, though our expectation is that catering - in particular snacks and light refreshments - will form a substantive part of the offering. LLDC are asking for expressions of interest from experienced catering and kiosk operators to lease all four kiosks and operate year round. The kiosks are situated close to the London Stadium and ArcelorMittal Orbit, within extensive landscaped gardens and alongside play spaces and waterways. The operator will need to flex operation to be able to benefit from high footfall event days, such as music concerts, international sporting events, and football matches.
