The Snail in Sevenoaks to re-open as ‘fine dining pub'

The Snail near Sevenoaks in Kent to reopen as a "fine dining pub" following its recent sale.

The pub will re-open on 7 March following the acquisition of its leasehold by former vet Graham Hines, and his chef son-in-law Michael Morgan.

Morgan most recently worked as a chef at the Kings Hill Golf Club, and prior to that he was head chef at the Thistle Hotel, Brands hatch.

Hines said: "We are delighted to have completed the purchase of the leasehold interest in The Snail. We have known the property for many years, as I live locally and prior to my purchase was a local vet for over 30 years. The property will re-open on Friday 7 March and fine dining will be re-introduced together with an extensive range of wines and cask ales".

The Snail features 66 covers in two separated dining areas, three double bedroom accommodations, a large garden and a car park. The £87,000 sale of its leasehold was negotiated by property agent Fleurets.
