Stonegate Pub Company acquires the Living Room

The Stonegate Pub Company has acquired the Living Room brand of 13 sites from Premium Bars & Restaurants.

The transaction follows the company's recent acquisitions of The Queens Head in Frodsham, Cheshire, and a new larger site for the Slug & Lettuce brand in the O2 Greenwich arena.

Toby Smith, CEO for Stonegate said: "We are delighted to have acquired The Living Room business and are looking forward to working with the current team to operate what are undoubtedly some of the finest sites in the UK."

Stonegate Pub Company is believed to be the largest privately held managed pub operator in the UK with 573 outlets across the following brands: Classic Inns, Local Pubs, Great Traditional Pubs, Slug and Lettuce, Scream, Yates, Bars & Venues, Missoula and Living Room. It has an annual turnover of £500m and employs more than 10,500 people.
