Robyn Jones shortlisted for Businesswoman title
Robyn Jones, founder and chief executive of Charlton House Catering Services, has been shortlisted for the Veuve Clicquot award, Businesswoman of the Year 2002.
She started her company in a spare room in 1991 and has seen it grow annually by 42% over the past four years. It now employs 900 people, and this year is expected to exceed its budgeted annual turnover of £30.5m.
Jones is up against Jane Barclay and Sharon Harel, co-founders and joint managing directors of Capitol Films; Dawn Gibbons, founder and chairman of Flowcrete Group of Companies; and Lizzie Vann, founder and managing director of Organix Brands. The winner will be announced on 24 April.
