Nadler Soho hotel launches in London
Located in Carlisle Street, the 78 bedroom hotel is very much a family project with interior designs from Clarissa Nadler, wife of the founder and chief executive of the company, Robert Nadler. Artwork is from Ronald Diennet, Nadler's stepson, with his other stepson Dorian Dreyfus overseeing the furniture and furnishings.
The opening of the hotel follows the recent rebranding of Base2stay - the group's holding company - to Nadler Hotels, alongside the refurbishment and renaming of the company's Kensington property to the Nadler Kensington. Meanwhile, the group's Liverpool hotel will remain as a Base2stay hotel and become the flagship of the group's regional business.
Nadler's intention is to deliver four-star rooms, with five-star service at three-star prices. Room rates start at £130. All bedrooms include hidden mini kitchens, free WiFi, 30 minutes of free local and national telephone calls and a pillow menu. Local ambassadors provide guests with tips for the best bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood.
The two London properties will be the first UK hotels to offer the Newspapers Direct app, allowing guests to download over 2,300 international newspapers in 55 languages to their devices for free whilst staying at the hotel.
