Moonshine Bars buys London's Puzzle Pub from adminstrators

Bar and restaurant operator Moonshine Bars bought the former Puzzle Pub site in London's Horseferry Road from the administrators of the Food & Drink Group.

Moonshine's father and son owners Tom and Robbie Gill bought the free-of-tie lease through leisure property agent Davis Coffer Lyons for £50,000.

The oub will be refitted and it will open as The Loose Box bar and kitchen in late January.

The acquisition is takes Moonshine's estate to two pubs and the company said it was looking for further opportunities in London. It also operates bar and restaurant Elephant on the Hill in Battersea, which was refurbished in November.
