Man killed in shooting

A gunman walked into a restaurant in Shepherd's Bush in west London last week and opened fire, wounding a waitress and leaving one man dead.

Police were called to Nando's chicken restaurant at 284 Uxbridge Road after 28-year-old waitress Gabriella Slegova was shot in the arm.

After the shooting, a group of people reportedly sped off in a car, then crashed into a shop window. A 17-year-old man was found dead at the scene of the crash with gunshot wounds.

Police have arrested a 20-year-old man who has been released on police bail. They have set up an incident room in Putney and are appealing for witnesses to call 020 8785 8056.
