Just Hospitality opens second production kitchen
London workplace caterer Just Hospitality has tripled its operational capacity with the opening of a second production kitchen.
The 5,000 sq ft kitchen, which occupies the site of the former Nadells Patisserie in Islington, has the capacity to cook 2,000 covers daily.
It will operate alongside Just Hospitality's existing production kitchen in Bermondsey, which produces 1,000 covers a day.
In recent months the caterer has experienced rapid growth, having signed four new contracts, worth a combined £1.3m, with international firms in technology and media sectors.
Just Hospitality said it was in multiple discussions with other businesses in light of its expansion and is currently on a recruitment drive for additional chefs. The Angel kitchen is expected to employ 25 new chefs.
Matt Byne, director of food at Just Hospitality (pictured above with managing director Dean Kennet), said: "Our chefs have done a fantastic job so far of giving something special to every client, and accommodating their different cultures and needs.
"With this kitchen, though, we hope to be able to develop an even wider range of fresh menu options. We want to work with clients to develop a food programme at their workplace that has as much personality as they do."
Just Hospitality, which names Twitter, Yahoo and Dropbox among its clients, prepares hot and cold dishes from scratch every day before delivering them to workplaces across the capital.
