Geronimo Inns to build pubs at key locations

Geronimo Inns plans to build pubs in a number of key locations, including the new Eurostar terminal in London's St Pancras station and Heathrow airport's Terminal Five.

The pub group has signed an agreement on sites, such as St Pancras, to take advantage of the main arrival and departure points of transport services providing a high level of people traffic.

The group aims to "double in size" in the next three years and a cash investment of £10m was injected into the business last November by private equity group, Penta, to help aid expansion.

The deals follow the planned takeover of the freehold for the Bull Finch, near Sevenoaks in Kent which is due to open on 1 June.

Rupert Cleverly, head of Geronimo Inns said: "Both our airport and out-of-London sites have been a tremendous success and, as anticipated, we expect to further our growth in these areas."
