Deadline for Springboard awards nears

The countdown for entries to this year's Springboard's Awards for Excellence has begun with the deadline on Thursday 29th November.

Springboard's Awards for Excellence will be held on the 17 January 2008 at the Dorchester hotel in London.

They will be split into three categories: promoting careers, attracting people and best employment practices.

There is also the Chris Beaumont award for most outstanding contribution towards Springboard's aims.

A shortlist from each of the three categories will be drawn up and entries will be scrutinised by a panel of judges chaired by a director of Springboard UK.

Judges will be chosen from sponsors, last year's winners and other appropriate bodies for each award.

Those looking to enter should go to the Springboard website for a full list of the awards up for grabs.
