Compass Group full year outlook remains positive
Compass Group has reported a good start to its financial year with first quarter organic revenue growth of almost 6%.
Expectations for the full year remain "positive and unchanged", the company said in an interim management statement ahead of its annual general meeting (AGM) to be held today.
Growth performance in North America was particularly strong while the environment in Europe remains difficult but Compass said its cost reduction plans in the region are on track.
Business in the company's Fast Growing & Emerging markets saw strong levels of organic growth.
Compass Group has committed £77m to infill acquisitions since 30 September 2012. These include include Crown Camps in Colombia, Toronto-based Nova Services Group, Crest Services and Mayflower Healthcare Textile Services, both in the US.
