Combi-spray kit
A COMBI-spray kit for washing down the inside of combi ovens and steamers was one of the new products on the Mecserflex stand. The kit includes a spray gun, ten feet of stainless steel hose and a quick release coupling to allow full flexibility of the spray gun.
Heat resistance
TEMPERATURES of up to 500ºC were generatedwith a blowtorch to demonstrate the heat resistance of newly imported Tucker BurnGuard protective clothing.
The US-based company's visit to the World of Hospitality was the first time it had exhibited its products outside home territory. On display were oven mitts, aprons, arm protectors, and full suits and boots worn when filtering hot oil. All items are manufactured from Du Pont Nomex and Du Pont Kevlar - flame and heat resistant materials worn by firemen.

Glasswashers
THE Comenda B series of glasswashers from Dawson MMP has been developed to meet the stringent criteria of some of the UK's leading breweries.
The range consists of four front loading models with an output of between 24 and 30 racks of mixed glasses per hour.
All machines have a dual rinse option; the first sanitizes the glasses at 85ºC followed by evaporation drying; the second rinses with cold water to reduce the temperature of the glassware.
Compact waste
THE TT 330 bin compactor from Tony Team is a fully automatic waste compressor. The emptybin is placed on a hydraulic platform and, when full of waste, is withdrawn into the machine for the waste to be compacted.
Compacting the waste makes significant savings, claims the company. At present, it costs about £5 to empty a 1,100 litre bin. List price is £4,200 for the TT 330 (litre) compactor, and £5,200 for TT 1,100 (litre) compactor.
