Barracuda adds two sites to portfolio

Pub group Barracuda has added to its estate of more than 200 pubs with the opening of two sites this week in Lancashire and Cambridgeshire.

The two pubs, the Wyre Light in Fleetwood and the Silk Worm in Sudbury, opened this week for a combined cost of £1.6m to Barracuda. They will both operate under the Smith & Jones banner which accounts for half of all Barracuda boozers.

Barracuda has also revealed that the opening of the Wyre Light and the Silk Worm is just the tip of the iceberg for a series of openings planned for August and September, including two additional sites for their current Scottish estate of 10 pubs.
