All in bad taste

Although Christmas might seem a long way off for most people, in hospitality it's a different matter. You're probably thinking about Christmas promotions, orders and menus long before most people have drawn up their Christmas card list. So why not give yourself something to look forward to in December besides worrying about whether you've got enough turkeys to go round?

On 2 December Catering Update is hosting a Bad Taste Christmas Party at the CC Club in London to get suppliers and caterers in the right mood for the forthcoming festivities. The party is a celebration of all things considered bad taste. Whether it's dancing round handbags, singing to 80s classics or knocking back umbrella-adorned pina coladas, this party promises to be a night to remember. If you want to attend, all you have to do is [click here to download the booking form, complete this form then email or post it back to us. Tickets cost £60 plus VAT per person. So start practising your bad taste grimaces now, like Catering Update's editor Kathy Bowry in the picture.
