Ullswater Heights to become fourth in Leisure Resorts portfolio

A new luxury £20m leisure resort is set to open next week in the Cumbria village of Newbiggin.

Ullswater Heights will become the fourth resort in a portfolio owned by Leisure Resorts, which was set up by entrepreneur Gary Molloy in 2017. It joins other sites in Cumbria, North Yorkshire and the Yorkshire Dales.

Located within a 70-acre estate, featuring an eight-acre lake, the resort will feature 150 lodges and glamping tents which are available to buy or as holiday lets, the Lakehouse bar and restaurant, farm and playground.

Molloy said: "Leisure Resorts has been operating for just over two years and Ullswater Heights represents the pinnacle of our achievements to-date. We're taking our offering to a new level, aiming to open as the best holiday park in the UK and never stop improving what we offer."

Leisure Resorts have partnered with Hoseasons as its booking platform.
