Jamaican casual dining restaurant Rudie's is to open a second restaurant next year.
The new 30-cover outpost will be in units 44 and 45 at Boxpark Shoreditch in London.
It follows the opening of the original Rudie's in Dalston, London, two years ago.
Favourites such as Rudie's signature jerk chicken, curry goat and ‘boss burger' will appear on the menu.
The restaurant will also launch a new ‘grab and go' concept, aimed to suit Shoreditch workers and residents. ‘Boxfood' will offer a selection of Jamaican lunch options such as the jerk-it-up box (jerk chicken with sweet potato, rice'n'peas or chow chow slaw), ‘hellshire beach' (king prawns sautéed in pepper sauce, served with avocado salsa and fried bammy) and ital vital, one of the vegan boxes (plantain with Appleton rum sauce, sweet potatoes and chow chow slaw).
Roti wraps will also remain on the menu and guests will be able to choose between curry goat, jerk chicken, jerk pork and callaloo & mushroom fillings.
Rudie's is run by chief executive and co-founder Matin Miah, who launched the 80-cover Dalston restaurant in September 2015.
