Cucina has gone back to school early, with two education catering wins totalling £10m.
The Hertfordshire-based school restaurant business chalked up a framework deal with Meller Educational Trust, catering for several academies and university technical colleges based around Watford, South Hertfordshire and Hillingdon.
Two other firms underwent examination for the five-year deal but it was Cucina that emerged with top marks.
Academies included in the tender are: the Bushey Academy in Bushey, Hertfordshire; the Hertswood Academy in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire; and the Francis Combe Academy in Watford.
Watford University Technical College and other Meller Education Trust academies may seek to opt into the agreement at the expiry of their existing arrangements.
In another textbook performance, Cucina has also picked up another £2.8m schools contract to provide the catering at Walton High in Milton Keynes.
The school has two campuses, having grown steadily since its opening in 1999, and has nearly 2,000 students in total.
Two other firms bid for the five-year deal.
No-one from Cucina was available to comment.
