Whatley Manor has announced the appointment of Andreas Rosendal as food and beverage manager.
Rosendal, previously wine director at Flemings Mayfair hotel, has more than 15-years’ experience as a sommelier and wine buyer.
He will have responsibility for the hotel’s Michelin-starred the Dining Room, Grey’s Brasserie, afternoon tea, room service, breakfast and the recently launched Green Room, working with executive chef Niall Keating.
General manager Sue Williams said: “It’s a wonderful moment when such an experienced and professional gentleman agrees to join your team.
“Andreas brings with him a wealth of experience that spans five-star hotels and very fine restaurants. His arrival gives us an opportunity to continue to raise the bar on all our service points – we are very excited about this next chapter for Whatley.”
