Motherclucker and more join Market Halls vendor lineup for Intu Lakeside

Market Halls, the firm behind bricks and mortar street-vendor sites in Victoria and Fulham, has revealed the full line up for its next site at Intu Lakeside, Essex.

The site, dubbed simply the Hall, will incorporate food concepts from the local area as well as success stories from the firm's London locations upon its launch at the end of July.

Accompanying Baoziinn and Fanny's Kebabs, which have both had successful runs in Market Halls Victoria and Market Halls Fulham, Curry on Naanstop will offer batata vada pav -Mumbai-style potato burgers - and chicken tikka naan wraps in the concept's first foray into bricks and mortar.

Highly regarded London street-food vendor Mother Clucker, which sells some 24,000 chicken strips a month, will bring its trademark tea-brined, twice-battered fried chicken to the location. Meanwhile Essex locals Charlie and Rory
Nelson will offer Neopolitan-style pizzas from their Fundi Pizza outlet, while another local team behind Burger and Beyond will be producing dishes such as a Bacon Butter Burger with burnt butter mayonnaise and crispy pancetta.

The move marks the continued expansion of the firm, which is headed up by CEO Andy Lewis-Pratt and COO Simon Anderson. In autumn Market Halls West End is slated to launch, becoming the largest food hall in the country.
