Hawksmoor group's Foxlow Soho announces closure depleting brand to two sites
Foxlow Soho, the neighbourhood restaurant inspired by British produce and operated by the Hawksmoor Group, will close on 18 April after receiving an offer on the site.
The restaurant confirmed its closure in an email to customers, saying that while "the restaurant has been very successful in many ways… we recently got a great unsolicited offer for the site and we decided to accept it".
It added: "We're now going to focus on closing the restaurant in the best way possible: by looking after our suppliers and the people who work there, many of whom will be joining some of our other restaurants. Maybe one or two might even cross the pond with us and join our opening team in Hawksmoor New York, which will be opening later this year."
The closure of the Soho site, which launched two years ago, comes a month after the group announced the end of Foxlow Chiswick - with customers told the operators "hadn't been able to make it work".
