Marston's appoints Carolyn Bradley as interim chairman

Marston's has announced that Carolyn Bradley will take the position of interim chairman of the board when Roger Devlin steps down later this month.

Bradley, former group brand director for Tesco, had previously advised the brewery on its marketing strategy and held the position of senior independent director.

Devlin's departure on the 31 May was revealed in March and attributed to his "other increased business commitments".

He will join the board of housebuilding company Persimmon as chairman on 1 June.

Marston's has said a search process to find a permanent successor to Devlin is underway.
