The National Trust is inviting formal tender proposals to operate an artisan ice-cream concession from Ivinghoe Beacon, Monument Drive and additional locations on the Estate in peak times.

This is an excellent business opportunity for a proven entrepreneur able to demonstrate their ability to bring a contemporary, artisan product to this popular Estate. We're looking for an ice-cream of real quality, preferably of local provenance, to meet the expectations of our growing audience.

The National Trust's Ashridge Estate straddles the Hertfordshire/Buckinghamshire border.

t comprises 5,000 acres of some of the finest woodland in the country, breathtaking chalk downlands and wide open commons. Ashridge is an open-space property, so people can come and go as they please at all hours, all year round. It is estimated that it attracts as many as one million visitors per year.
