Sodexo taps into £4m oil and gas contracts
Sodexo has secured two new contracts in the oil and gas sector worth a combined £4m.
The pipeline includes oil and gas company Chrysaor and BW Offshore, a provider of floating production services to the oil and gas industry.
Sodexo will provide catering, cleaning, security and reception services at Crysaor's offices in Aberdeen and on three North Sea rigs which it acquired this month as part of a deal with Shell.
The contract with BW Offshore includes the provision of catering, housekeeping and laundry for the crew of 110 aboard its new floating production storage and offloading unit, the BW Catcher.
Susan Elston, senior vice-president for Sodexo's Offshore & Marine business in the UK and Ireland, said: "We are delighted to have been awarded these contracts. We believe that in the challenging environment of the oil and gas industry the wellbeing and safety of our customers is critical. We are looking forward to partnering with both Chrysaor and BW Offshore to ensure their employees are given the safest and most comfortable working, and living, environment we can."
